LPN/Paramedic Pathway to ASN-RN Information Session (Virtual)

This is a virtual info session for the LPN/Paramedic Pathway to ASN-RN program. The session will be hosted on Microsoft Teams, so be sure to download the Teams app on your computer (recommended) or on your mobile device beforehand for the best performance.

The nursing program you’re interested in is a competitive health professions program. This means before you can major in and graduate from your nursing program of interest, you must apply and be admitted to the program. We will discuss this process and more during the info session. Importantly, we will not cover information pertaining to classes, clinicals, or experiences in the nursing program, but rather, the pre-admission and application process. 

The first 30 minutes of this info session will be primarily informative and will cover basic requirements for applying to your desired program (e.g. GPA, classes, entrance exam, etc.) and where to find program information. This part of the session will be helpful for prospective, newly admitted, and continuing students interested in the program. 

To get the most out of the session, you should come prepared with:  

• A laptop or device that can easily access your student information during the Teams meeting 
• For admitted students: access to your DSC student account (i.e. know your login information, which new students can find here: Obtaining DSC Login Credentials)
